Choose the tabs at the left to gain information on my discipline policy, grading policy and the expectations of students in the accelerated math program.  I am available before school and until 3:30 after school to help students who may need help.  I encourage all students to keep an organized math notebook, it helps students to pay attention during class and keep track of assignments. It gives them a source of examples to look back on, that were demonstrated in class, to assist in completing homework.  I allow students to use their own notes during most assessments, so a well kept notebook can be very helpful.

Parents, please use the parent portal to keep track of student progress and contact me if you have concerns.  I will do my best to keep the grade book current but, with the number of papers I receive each day, it is impossible to update it every day.

I allow retesting on most quizzes and tests as long as a student doesn't let it slide until the end of the quarter.  If a student has a bad test and wishes to retake it, they must indicate to me that they would like to do so and come in before or after school, or some other arranged time to go over the old test.  I like to review the mistakes made and strive to make it a learning experience so the same mistakes aren't repeated.  I will then give a different version or the same test with some of the numbers changed.  There is no deduction of points for retaking the test and I will use the better of the two scores.
